1. Strap it on

3. Set up a target

A cardboard box, a drinks can on a garden table, or a sheet of paper taped to a fence. Never a person.

4. Fire

Pull the trigger. The dart carries a good distance outdoors, less indoors where there’s more to hit.

5. Use the string line

Fire it at a smooth surface and let go. The line retracts on its own.
